Water management

Besides insects eating our homes, water is a huge enemy of the built environment.  Uncontrolled it can cause rot in wood, mold in the air, dust mites, and other allergens that can make us sick.  The good news is that there are solutions that can help manage water.

Some of our solutions:

• Whole house humidity control- in the summer there is too much moisture in the air so there is a need for dehumidification.  We have whole house or point of use humidity control solutions.  In some cases, the air is too dry in the winter months so we can add moisture to the air as well.

• Crawlspace encapsulation- our basement and crawlspace encapsulation techniques not only protect you from excessive moisture, but are energy saving as well.  Our system treats for bugs, controls humidity, and adds insulation all at the same time!
• Bulk moisture control- gutters with downspout extensions can alleviate most of the problems with water getting into the house.  If this does not solve the problem, then we address the bulk water with exterior grading and water proofing.
